Approximately twenty-five thousand households in southeastern Queensland were left lacking electricity on Monday's dawn after severe thunderstorms passed over the state, bringing wind gusts reaching 109 kilometers per hour.
Massive Ice Stones and Broad Damage
Residents witnessed giant hailstones measuring up to 7cm in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that various areas across the state had been impacted by large hailstones.
